What are the common classifications of electric arc furnace?

There are many kinds of electric arc furnaces. What are the common ones? We can learn and understand them together today!

According to the melting form of electrode:

(1) The non consumable electrode arc furnace uses tungsten or graphite as the electrode, and the electrode itself does not consume or consumes less in the melting process.

(2) Consumable electrode electric arc furnace uses molten metal as electrode to melt and consume metal electrode.

Control method according to arc length:

(1) The constant arc voltage automatic control electric arc furnace relies on the comparison between the voltage between the two poles and the given voltage, and drives the consumable electrode to rise and fall through signal amplification to keep the arc length constant.

(2) Constant arc length automatic control electric arc furnace depends on the constant arc voltage to approximately control the constant arc length.

(3) Droplet pulse automatic control electric arc furnace automatically controls the constancy of arc length according to the relationship between pulse frequency and pulse duration generated in the process of metal droplet formation and dripping and arc length.

Divided by operation form:

(1) Periodic working electric arc furnace, i.e. each melting furnace as a cycle.

(2) There are two forms of continuous operation electric arc furnace. One is furnace body rotation; The other is that two furnaces share a DC power supply, that is, after one furnace melts, switch the power supply to the other furnace and immediately start the melting of the next furnace.

According to the furnace structure:

(1) Fixed electric arc furnace.

(2) Rotary electric arc furnace.

Well, the above is the classification introduction of electric arc furnace. For more details, see the official website: http://www.ayynd.com/
